Combat your constipation with this delicious, nutritious and soothing baked apple and cinnamon porridge recipe. Ingredients
Serves 1
- 90g oats
- 200 ml goat milk (or milk alternative of your choice)
- 1 apple, cored and grated (skin on for extra fibre!)
- 1 TBSP honey
- ½ TSP cinnamon
- Optional toppings – yoghurt, chopped nuts, seeds, raisins
Method
- Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
- In a bowl combine the oats, milk, cinnamon, apple and honey.
- Pour into a small oven-safe dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until the top started turning golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let sit for a few minutes.
- Top with toppings of your choice, tuck in and enjoy!
