Immune-boosting shots for a healthier you

Kickstart your morning with these gut-loving juice shots! Full of antioxidants and vitamins, these are the perfect addition to your morning routine.

This recipe makes approximately 5 lots of 50ml shots. You can store them in the fridge for up to 3 days. Alternatively, you can freeze them for up to 12 months and later leave in the fridge overnight to defrost.

Ingredients

  • 3 apples
  • 70 g ginger
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 110 ml water
  • 1 TSP turmeric
  • Sieve (or cheesecloth)

Method

  1. De-core the apples and cut into quarters.
  2. Peel the skin off the ginger and cut into inch sized pieces.
  3. Put all ingredients other than the turmeric into the blender and put on low.
  4. Once ingredients have broken down, add turmeric and put on high.
  5. Pour juice into a container through a sieve or cheesecloth. If using a sieve, use a spoon to push the juice through the pulp.
  6. Always stir before pouring.

If you have a juicing machine, you can add all ingredients to your juicer!
