About the Soap
Each bar is handmade on our farm in small batches using goat’s milk, our award-winning kefir, olive oil and coconut oil. The result is a firm, long-lasting bar with a rich lather that cleanses without leaving your skin feeling stripped.
All five formulations contain water, olive oil, goat’s milk, kefir, sustainable palm oil and coconut oil. Each variant then has its own additional ingredients, such as oatmeal and honey or selected essential oils and clay. Check the ingredient list for your chosen bar if you have allergies or sensitivities.
Yes. The bars are preservative-free and contain no synthetic fragrance. Sensitive is fragrance-free and contains no essential oils; the other formulations are scented only with their stated natural essential oils.
Choosing Your Soap
Sensitive is fragrance-free with oatmeal and honey; Break-Out contains thyme and tea tree for blemish-prone skin; Soothing uses rosemary; Calm-Down uses lavender; and Natural Clean combines grapefruit, lemon and bergamot for a fresh citrus scent.
Start with Sensitive. It contains no fragrance or essential oils and combines oatmeal and honey with our goat’s milk kefir base. If your skin is particularly reactive, check the full ingredient list and patch test on a small area of clear skin before wider use.
Break-Out is our strongest formulation. It contains thyme and tea tree essential oils with French facial clay and is designed for blemish-prone skin. It is recommended for ages 12 and over.
The soaps are cruelty-free, but they are not vegan because every formulation contains goat’s milk. Sensitive also contains honey. Full ingredients are listed for each formulation on the product page and packaging.
How to Use It
Yes. The bars are suitable for cleansing the face, hands and body. Work the bar into a lather, massage onto wet skin and rinse thoroughly, avoiding direct contact with the eyes.
Yes. The rich lather can be used for shaving and for removing make-up from the face. Rinse thoroughly after use and avoid the eye area.
The soaps are designed for daily use and can generally be used once or twice a day. Listen to your skin and reduce use if it begins to feel dry or irritated. If you are new to the product or have reactive skin, patch test first.
Yes. Cleanse with your chosen soap, rinse and dry the skin, then follow with a Chuckling Goat kefir lotion or balm where extra moisturising care is needed. You can pair products from the same formulation or mix them to suit your skin.
Suitability & Care
Most formulations are suitable and age-tested for children aged 3 years and over. Break-Out is the strongest formulation and is recommended for ages 12 and over only. Always check the product label and patch test on a small area of clear skin before first use.
Sensitive and Natural Clean are considered the safest options during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with Sensitive containing no essential oils. If you have concerns or would prefer another formulation containing essential oils, check with your midwife, GP or healthcare professional first.
Keep the bar on a well-draining soap dish and allow it to dry between uses. Because the soaps are preservative-free, do not leave them sitting in water. They are firm bars designed to last for weeks, although the exact lifespan depends on how often they are used and how well they are allowed to dry.
